Shortcuts

Shortcuts are suggestion values that are displayed next to the inputs in the item form.

Activation

Shortcuts are optional (and turned off by default).

They are set active at the module server function level, by using the options arguments:

kitems::kitems(id = "mydata", path = "./", options = list(shortcut = TRUE))

Principle

The suggested values are computed based on the attribute type and the values in the items table, so that it’s easier to reuse the most common values to set an attribute value.

Note

For now, there is no way to set / unset the shortcut suggestion at the attribute level.
It is on or off for all the data model attributes.

Strategies to compute those values are quite basic at the moment.
